BEC LAUNCHES ONLINE PAYMENT OF 2016 BGCSE EXAMINATION (PRIVATE CANDIDATES)

BEC started using the Malepa system to process national examinations starting with BGCSE in 2012, PSLE in 2013 and JCE in 2014.

One of the benefits of the Malepa system is to afford candidates an opportunity to register and pay for their registration online wherever they are. To be able to register and pay online, private candidates will require Internet access, sufficient network coverage and any of the following: Orange Money Account, VISA card (Debit and Credit), Master Card.
A prospective candidate will first complete the application form using the MALEPA system before proceeding with payment.
The system will issue the candidate with a Provisional Statement of Entry showing:
    • The candidate personal details and syllabuses applied for
    • Amount to be paid
    •The application number, which the candidate will use to pay using Orange Money, VISA Card (Debit or Credit), Master Card, any FNBB branch or BEC Accounts Office.

Registration and payment for private candidates will run from the 4th April 2016 until 31st May 2016.

All BOCODOL candidates will register and pay at their respective regional centres.
